Dinge haben sich verändert, es hat einfach nicht mehr gestimmt, und bevor wir am Ende im Streit auseinander gehen, haben wir uns dazu entschieden, dass sich unsere Wege an dieser Stelle leider trennen müssen. Wir sind dankbar für die vielen Jahre der Zusammenarbeit und Hilfe. Viele unserer Schützlinge fanden über die Tierhilfe Spanien ein schönes Zuhause, dank großzügiger Spenden konnten wir vieles im Tierheim realisieren, was uns ansonsten nicht oder nur sehr viel schwerer möglich gewesen wäre. Auch wenn es zum Ende hin nicht mehr alles so funktioniert hat as in the beginning, we will never forget this help.

We wish our former partners all the best and hope that they will still help many other animals.

Heute habe ich in der Satdthalle Sinsheim aus meinem Buch "Kindergarten statt Kummergarten" gelesen. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, dass so viele Erzieherinnen erschienen sind.



Wie immer führtge Frau Xenia Frenkel-Großmann, Journalisten bei der Zeitschrift Eltern, durch den Abend.



Im Anschluß konnte ich noch mit den Erzieherinnen viele interessante Gespräche führen. Ich bin sehr glücklich, dass mein Buch auf eine so große Resonanz stößt.



Besonders möchte ich mich bei der Volkshochschule Sinsheim und der Buchhandlung Bücherland for the good organization and strong support on the ground to thank, and of course the many teachers who have received me so warmly. It was a very nice evening.

At last they are: The 5 greyhounds and two floppy ears aus der Tötungsstation in Movera, die die letzten Wochen in einer Pension in Zaragoza "zwischengeparkt" waren, bis endlich wieder ein bisschen Platz im Tierheim war. Heute sind sie angekommen. Allen 7 geht es so weit gut, und glücklicherweise scheinen keine ganz schlimmen Angsnasen dabei zu sein, was ihre Vermittlung und Pflegestellensuche hoffentlich erleichtern wird!

Im Augenblick geht in Spanien die Jagdsaison zu Ende, was bedeutet, dass unzählige Galgos, Sabuesos, Pointer, Podencos... in den Tötungsstationen "entsorgt" werden und dort ihr Leben beenden.

So hat Tierheimleiterin Carme bereits die nächsten 5 Galgos aus einer Tötungsstation reservieren lassen... nach dem nächsten Transport nach Deutschland, wenn wieder Luft im Tierheim ist, werden auch diese 5 nachrücken dürfen.

Diese einzelnen sind ein Tropfen auf den heißen Stein, aber so werden wenigstens ein paar einzelne Nasen in diesem Leben noch einmal erleben, was es heißt, glücklich zu sein.

Ein paar gemischte Neuigkeiten aus Berga:

Ramona und ihre beiden verbliebenen (mittlerweile schon sehr viel größeren) Ferkel werden in ein Tierschutzprojekt nahe Girona ziehen, das sich auf "Nutz"-Tiere spezialisiert hat.

Dort wird die Schweinefamilie optimal versorgt sein und weiter nach einer endgültigen Familie suchen - und der Welpenauslauf in Berga wird fortan wieder den Welpen gehören.
